bushes are flowering.
Colors burst brilliantly
Nature seems to be creating an orchestra
of uplifting music.
Morning greetings mix
bird flutterings.
Sunshine waves down
kissing the air with warmth.
Spring is anew!
***I subscribe to Your Daily Poem to increase my like of poetry. Poets amaze me with the craft of words, the rhythm and snapshots with deep meaning. This week, a beautiful poem by William Wadsworth was shared called Written in March. It captures Spring so delightfully.
My favorite line is “Sunshine waves down and kisses the air with warmth.”
That was my favorite line too. Just love that image and feeling.
i love poetry. thanks for sharing this with us. SPRING!!
Thanks. I’ve added that site to my favorites. Nature definitely has an orchestra going. Have a great Spring Break!
Gorgeous words for a beautiful season!
Your poem captures the scent and beauty of springtime.
I enjoyed your poem, especially the line of nature creating an orchestra. Beautiful.
An orchestra of uplifting music! I love this metaphor.
Toady our weather was a slap in the face from spring. Your words took me away, though (like Frederick’s words in the book by Leo Lionni!)
I still can’t believe it’s still March! I like this, Mary Helen. You have beautiful visuals, and terrific verbs. More is not needed. Thanks!
