School has become ordinary. People ask how my job is going and I often answer, “It’s ok.” When asked how my day went, I would respond with, “It was alright.” Good. Alright. Okay. Those are all fine responses and valid feelings. But I really want more.
I want to feel enthused about the work I do. Catching small moments is what makes the big worth it. It overcomes the daily grind and helps to blanket the difficulties.
I want to celebrate the moments. I created a notebook and have begun to capture the moments of the day that made me smile. Nothing elaborate, but rereading the snippets brought a smile just now.

I often do this when I need to celebrate and hang on to the good stuff–it helps so much.
What a wonderful way to remember and celebrate!
